There’s a very specific sense of disappointment that comes from paying good money for a product only to have it fail soon after. There’s probably a complicated German word for it. With that in mind, Suhm’s passion is to create timeless designs and we want them to look good for as long as you want to look at them. 

Our box framed prints use archival-quality 100% cotton rag paper sealed behind 3mm premium perspex. The paper for our unframed pieces is a digital lustre to ensure toner adhesion and brilliant colour reproduction. That means our prints are designed to last up to 100 years. Our timber box frames are robust and precisely engineered right here in Australia to the highest standards. Locally sourced and made.

Suhm is proudly Australian owned, designed, and manufactured in Sydney, Australia using as many locally-sourced, recyclable, and sustainable materials as we can. We hate using plastics, but until our kids stop being obsessed with bubble wrap, it's simply the most viable option to keep your orders safe and affordably shipped.

Every print and box frame is manufactured, by hand, on demand. That means no warehousing, no wastage, no landfill for unsold designs. Yes, it might add a few days to the shipping but it's something we care about, and assume most of our customers do, too.

Heart in the art.

You know who else is making beautiful things? KidsXpress combines music, art, drama and play therapies to transform the lives of children impacted by trauma and adversity.

Established in 2005, KidsXpress sought to address the lack of services available to support children who were living with the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Their Australian-first Expressive Therapy program combines the creative modalities of art, music, play and drama therapy to promote emotional growth and healing, while their leading trauma-informed education services help build the capacity of teachers and other child-welfare professionals to better recognise and respond to children that have experienced adversity. KidsXpress is today considered a leader in early-intervention mental health services for the holistic way they address the insidious and cumulative effects of toxic stress before they become entrenched problems in adulthood.
